The popular anime The Apothecary Diaries is bringing its beloved characters Maomao, Jinshi, Xiaolan, and Jisui to life through a special collaboration with Gokurakuyu and RAKU SPA! From May 22 to June 17, 2025, fans can enjoy themed baths, character-inspired food and drinks, and limited-edition merchandise at five spa locations in Japan.
This collaboration celebrates the success of the anime adaptation of The Apothecary Diaries, a hit mystery series set in an imperial palace. First airing in October 2023, the show captivated fans with its unique blend of court intrigue and detective drama and continues into its second season in 2025.
Relax in Character-Themed Baths
Each spa will offer five special collaboration baths inspired by the anime’s characters—Maomao, Jinshi, Xiaolan, and Jisui. Themed decorations and exclusive designs will immerse fans in the world of The Apothecary Diaries. Bath schedules may vary by location.
Enjoy Exclusive Collaboration Menus
Try out original dishes and drinks such as Maomao’s Apple Squash, Jinshi’s Almond Calpis, and Maomao’s Ankake Fried Rice. Every food or drink order comes with a randomly selected collectible coaster (8 types in total). Limited quantities of original tumbler sets are also available.
Collect Limited-Edition Merchandise
Acrylic stands, trading badges, motif scrunchies, mesh sacoches, and more featuring new illustrations are available for purchase in-store and online. Spend over 2,000 yen ($13 USD) on merchandise in-store to receive a special clear card (while supplies last).
